When Muggins arrived at her office, Dr. Fallek thought he might be dead.  He should have been dead according to the "experts."  Maria, his owner, called him "dead cat walking."  With advanced kidney failure, and lungs filled with fluid from multiple tumors, Muggins had wasted away to 3 ½ pounds, and could barely breathe.  Desperate, Maria decided to try one last thing, holistic medicine.  According to Dr. Fallek, "Pet owners often turn to holistic approaches after everything else fails."
