Holcim (US) Responds to Destruction in Haiti
Company Plans to Match 100 Percent of Employee Donations
WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Holcim (US) Inc., one of the nation's leading manufacturers and suppliers of cement and mineral components, today announced that in an effort to provide additional assistance to the people of Haiti, the company will match 100 percent of individual employee contributions made to the American Red Cross within the next 90 days. These contributions will be sent to the American Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Relief.

On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti. The earthquake was centered about ten miles west of Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.
