Company Promoting 3rd International Holcim Awards
WALTHAM, Mass., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Cement manufacturer Holcim (US) Inc. announced today that it has an exhibit at the American Institute of Architects Convention being held in Miami, Florida from June 10 - June 12, 2010.
Holcim is promoting the upcoming call-for-entries for the third cycle Holcim Awards. The Holcim Awards is an international competition for sustainable construction projects including a category for "next generation" which pertains to architectural students. A total of $2 million in prize money is awarded in each three-year cycle.
Applications for the 3rd International Holcim Awards can be submitted starting July 1, 2010 and is open until March 23, 2011. Projects are expected to be at an advanced stage of planning. Execution may not have started before July 1, 2010.
