HMS National Names Douglas Stein President
Executive to Focus on Client Growth and Maximizing Customer Lifetime Value
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- HMS National, Inc. (HMS), a leading provider of home warranties, today announced that it promoted Douglas Stein to President. In his expanded role, Stein will focus on growing HMS' client base and maximizing customer lifetime value through a range of leading marketing, sales and client management strategies.
As General Manager of HMS, Stein has proven himself to be an innovator, enabling the company to continue growing during difficult market conditions. This growth is largely the result of developing effective strategies to align with emerging trends and a tenacious focus on executing the company's plans.

Earlier, Stein was at Accenture, the world's largest consulting firm, where he served clients in the financial services, high technology and transportation industries. During his six years at the firm, he helped drive successful strategy development and technology implementation efforts for Fortune 500 clients.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida with a B.S. degree in finance and holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a dean's list scholar. Stein is an active speaker, presenting at events such as the Direct Marketing Association's Annual Conference. He also sits on the boards of several organizations, including as Treasurer of the National Home Services Contract Association, an organization that represents the multi-billion home warranty industry; the Real Estate Service Providers Council; and the South Florida Kellogg alumni association.
