HIT Application Solutions Appoints Richard Crook as its Vice President of Consulting Services to Drive the Wide-spread Needs of the Company's Growing Client Base
EXTON, Pa., July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HIT Application Solutions (HIT), a leading healthcare technology development company, today announced that Richard Crook has joined the senior management team.
Crook joins HIT Application Solutions in the newly formed position of Vice President of Consulting Services. A seasoned sales management strategist, Crook has more than 20 years' executive sales leadership experience for IT and Healthcare Management Systems. As a member of HIT's senior leadership, Crook will set the business development strategy and guide the capabilities of the company's professional consulting services.
"Richard's outstanding credentials, business aptitude and award winning track record made him a clear choice to lead HIT's business development efforts," said Brian Biddulph-Krentar, President and CEO of HIT. "Richard has built several sales and service teams from the ground up and has taken an equal number of established teams to new levels of productivity and profitability. His extensive experience in healthcare information technology provides immediate understanding to the unique needs of our healthcare clients. With the critical demands in healthcare, Richard displays the dexterity to provide outstanding service and support, exceeding our clients' and future clients' goals and objectives."
Crook comes to HIT from onFocus Healthcare, where he was most recently Vice President of Sales. He has demonstrated success driving million-dollar sales growth in highly competitive markets. In his new role at HIT, Crook will focus on helping the company in its ongoing drive to deliver superior consultation to healthcare organizations improving both the quality of care as well as the efficiency of operations across a variety of delivery environments.
"What attracted me to HIT was its 200+ satisfied consulting client base and the unique approach to assisting healthcare organizations with the right technology acquisitions," Crook said. "HIT knows how to connect the dots and do what it takes to satisfy its clients. I found remarkable the comments about the company posted to KLAS, an independent healthcare research firm, widely accepted by healthcare providers as an important source for making informed decisions."
"I am also impressed by the company's growth trajectory," added Crook. "During a period of healthcare reform, governmental regulations and economic pressures, HIT is growing rapidly and continues to reinvest in its operations."
In addition to consulting engagements, Crook will remain keenly involved in the development and implementation of HIT's acclaimed product Notifi®, an enterprise-wide, Intelligent Communication Engine which automates alert and notification processes involving event driven parameters across the continuum of care. According to Biddulph-Krentar, "With Richard driving our consulting initiatives, we can exponentially expand both our product and service deliveries to better serve our clients."
"Consulting is where HIT started many years ago. It is a very exciting opportunity to take our consulting operation to the next level and move forward with expansion of the HIT offerings. Plans are in place to progress services to Carestream Health Radiology and Imaging products as well as the Soarian Financials Suite of Products. It will be another year of growth and innovation for HIT. I am delighted to contribute as a key member of the HIT Team."
