Hill Climb Racing is truly "the little game that could". Developed as the first game to be issued by a one-man company, it has since been topping the charts all over the world, both in Google Play and Apple's App Store.
Hill Climb Racing is a fun-packed and extremely addictive physics-based racing game - and it's still sold for the reasonable price of absolutely nothing. The game's popularity inspires Fingersoft to make it even better.
"We have kept developing the game and will continue to do so. For us it is extremely important to keep Hill Climb Racing evolving. The first version was released with one car and four stages. The latest version has fourteen cars and fourteen stages," says Toni Fingerroos, founder and CEO of Fingersoft.
Hill Climb Racing's leading platform at the 100 million downloads mark has been Android, followed by iOS and Amazon Kindle. The top five Android countries are the USA, India, Germany, Russia and Spain.
Hill Climb Racing has also reached the coveted free apps number one spot in the US App Store. In Google Play it has been the top free game in multiple countries and has reached the number one spot in the top free games category in the US.
Hill Climb Racing is one of the best-rated mobile games in the world.
"We have between four and six million people playing Hill Climb Racing every day. HCR currently has 4.7 stars out of five in Google Play with over 810,000 reviews," says CEO Fingerroos.
Hill Climb Racing was first released for Android on 22 September 2012. The iOS version was released roughly a month later.
To celebrate both the 100 million downloads and the first anniversary, Fingersoft has released localised versions of Hill Climb Racing for Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, France, Poland and Japan.
