Highly Anticipated Feature Film Tic Screened at the Berlin Festival's European Film Market
Time Heals No Wounds in this Dramatic Heist Film
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Tic (http://ticthemovie.com/), the new motion picture from writer-director Keith Parmer screened at the Berlin International Film Festival's European Film Market on February 17, 2010. The film is set in L.A. with flashbacks to '90s London. Strong British talent head up this internationally diverse cast where fate meets fortune head-on.
Starring Lennie James (Snatch, Sahara, and Jericho), Treva Etienne (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Black Hawk Down, Terminator Salvation, and Eyes Wide Shut), Howard Antony (Full Metal Jacket and British soap opera EastEnders), Gary McDonald (Secrets & Lies, All or Nothing, The Shepherd and Until Death), Tina Casciani, Daniele Favilli, and Tish Graves.
Anton (Treva Etienne) is a career criminal following in his brother's footsteps. His mark is C-Note (Lennie James), an ex-criminal from London's East End who's haunted by the death of his best friend and partner Reggie (Howard Antony) – killed during the heist that, legend has it, made C-Note a rich man. What Anton's partner Tyrone (Gary McDonald), doesn't know is that Anton isn't in it for the money this time. As C-Note negotiates to free himself from his captors, his girlfriend Chilli (Tina Casciani) negotiates to free herself from C-Note. Armed and dangerous and with nothing to lose, into the fray walk C-Note's coke addicted accountant, Sal (Daniele Favilli), and Chilli's wannabe model girlfriend, Sydney (Tish Graves). As the clock tics, the tension escalates to a dramatic conclusion where everyone has something to hide and something to lose.
