HeartSine Technologies Recognized as an Index 30 Company at New York-New Belfast Conference
MINNEAPOLIS, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- HeartSine Technologies Ltd. recently joined 29 other companies on the 2010 Index 30, an annually compiled list of the most exciting companies with operations in the U.S. and Ireland.
Other companies on this year's Index 30 list, compiled by The Irish Echo, the biggest-selling newspaper serving Irish America, included Aon Corporation, BNY Mellon, Bimeda, Citi and Microsoft. All were feted at a luncheon held in New York City June 10 in conjunction with the annual New York-New Belfast Conference.
At the luncheon, the Index 30 were described as companies that recognize their ethical, environmental and fair employment obligations and, as such, represent the best investment vehicles.
"It was a great honor to be included among the prestigious list of Index 30 companies," said Gregory Cash, President and CEO of HeartSine. "For us, it's confirmation that we're doing business the right way, that our priorities make sense both from a business and a people perspective."
According to Mairtin O'Muilleoir, publisher of The Irish Echo, "HeartSine, with its life-changing technology, its innovative design approach, and its focus on the U.S. market, got an early thumbs-up from our shortlisting committee. The fact that the company is building on the technology of the first defibrillator, a Belfast invention, made its inclusion a no-brainer."
