Haier Launches Urban Kitchen Solutions at Dwell on Design LA
LOS ANGELES, May 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dwell on Design Booth 2211 -- Haier, a global appliance brand focused on whole-home solutions for modern living, is launching its Urban Kitchen Living line at Dwell on Design LA, the largest design industry event in the U.S.
The new line showcases freestanding and built-in kitchen appliances, including true European convection ranges and wall ovens, designed specifically for kitchens in urban condos, small houses and micro-spaces.
The Urban Kitchen Living launch is part of Haier's expansion into the small-space-living market. By providing standalone and bundled products designed to enhance day-to-day experiences in compact spaces, Haier recognizes—and celebrates—the increasing consumer shift to smaller, urban living spaces.

The need for small-space solutions is rising as American consumers migrate to cities in record numbers. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the nation's metro areas grew by about 2.3 million to 269.9 million people last year.

Dwell on Design LA is a three-day trade show and conference held at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 29–May 31. The event brings together hundreds of design professionals, approximately 400 exhibitors and more than 250 speakers. For two out of the three days, Dwell on Design LA is open to the general public. Haier's visitors can expect to see freestanding and built-in Kitchen Living solutions designed specifically for small-space homes.
