Guy Starkman, Brent Bolthouse, Darren Dzienciol and Jenifer Rosero to Open New Ultra Lounge 'Trousdale'
Trousdale to Offer Guests a Luxurious, Intimate Experience within The Comforts of a Chic Neighborhood Spot
LOS ANGELES, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Los Angeles restaurant and nightlife veterans Guy Starkman, Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero have partnered with newcomer Darren Dzienciol to open the highly-anticipated Trousdale, a new ultra lounge on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Trousdale will offer guests an exclusive environment to enjoy delicious food from Chef Dana Flores of Bread & Wine, specialty cocktails and music from the hottest deejays.
The intimate Trousdale interior features dark wood, marble pillars and oversized booths finished with silver leather. The focal point of the property is the main bar, framed by elaborate silver and gold moldings and decorated with a dark marble bar top, mirrored panels along the sides and an intricate mosaic pattern. Another key design element is the lavish chandelier, which runs the length of the main room. Interior decor was built and designed by John Sofio of Built, Inc.
"Trousdale will re-energize West Sunset Boulevard and will become this generation's Hyde," said Brent Bolthouse. "I am excited to be working with Guy and Darren on a property that has such great history. Trousdale will certainly become another nightlife icon in Los Angeles."
Chef Dana Flores of Bread & Wine, one of Los Angeles' premier catering companies, has designed the menu for Trousdale. Bread & Wine is known for its luxurious approach to catering and has worked with companies such as Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Vanity Fair and Movado, among others. The lounge's luxurious yet comfortable vibe is also present in the menu, which combines contemporary and classic cuisine to compliment all tastes. In addition, Bread & Wine will cater all private events in the Trousdale space.
"This property will be unlike anything else in Los Angeles," adds Darren Dzienciol. "Trousdale is the type of lounge where guests feel an immediate connection to the property; it becomes 'their place;' and yet it still maintains its cachet as a luxury nightlife spot."
Trousdale opens its doors on March 9 and will be open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For more information on Trousdale, please call 310-274-7500.
About Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero:
Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero virtually invented the Hollywood nightlife scene known today. Since Bolthouse's move from Joshua Tree to Los Angeles over 20 years ago, Brent has managed to position himself as arguably one of the most powerful nightlife mavens in the country. Bolthouse partnered with Rosero 18 years ago, and the two have grown to become icons in the Los Angeles nightlife world. In late 2005, Bolthouse Productions and SBE Entertainment Group (SBE) partnered, allowing the two entities to join forces to develop, promote and operate venues such as Hyde, Area, XIV, Foxtail, SLS Hotel, Katsuya by Stark and The Abbey. In 2009, Bolthouse officially ended his partnership with SBE; Trousdale is Bolthouse' first nightlife venture since ending this partnership. In November of 2009, 944 Media, LLC appointed Bolthouse as publisher, along with business partner Jenifer Rosero, of 944 Magazine Los Angeles.
About Darren Dzienciol:
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Darren Dzienciol has long been a fixture in the LA nightlife scene, though his first passion was fashion. At age 14, after designing shoes for rap music videos, Dzienciol was offered a position with Tommy Hilfiger to design shoes but declined this opportunity in order to finish school at Beverly Hills High School. At the age of 18, Dzienciol created his own fashion line, which provided him the opportunity to spend time in Paris during fall and spring Fashion Week. Dzienciol quickly learned the ins and outs of the Paris nightlife world, which eventually led him back to Los Angeles where he met restaurateur Guy Starkman. In 2008, Dzienciol first partnered with Guy Starkman to re-open the legendary Guy's nightclub and today is working with Bolthouse, Rosero and Starkman on Trousdale. Dzienciol continues to remain at the forefront of the nightlife scene, adding a fresh young perspective to the industry.
About Guy Starkman:
Guy Starkman was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Jerry's Famous Deli for the past 23 years.
