BERLIN, April 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Grenoble Ecole de Management/GGSB is partnering with Hannover-based GISMA Business School which is opening a brand new campus in Berlin.
Grenoble Ecole de Management/GGSB is adding a new location to its international campuses, by delivering from January 2017 its MBA, Master in International Business (MIB) and a wide portfolio of short courses, and executive programmes in Berlin, Germany. s
The move will also pave the way for GISMA to become the third institution in Berlin (and the fourth in the whole of Germany) to make available programmes that are accredited by the world's three largest and most influential business school accreditation associations, namely: the Association of MBAs (AMBA), the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
"We are very happy to run programs in Berlin, one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant cities in the world. The association with GISMA will allow our students to enjoy the best of two worlds: the prestige of a triple-accredited degree and the corporate connections that a reputed German business school provides", said Santiago Garcia, Dean and Director of GGSB, the international school of Grenoble Ecole de Management.
According to GISMA's Managing Director, Dr Thorsten Thiel, GISMA's historic ambition is to be recognised as the most international business school in Germany. By working with leading international institutions, GISMA wants to build its strengths as a locally-rooted school with global exposure, creating an educational platform dedicated to innovation, management, entrepreneurship and leadership.
"While Grenoble Ecole de Management/GGSB will bring a range of high quality, triple-accredited programmes to our new campus, GISMA will be able to complement the learning experience thanks to its wide expertise in the German market which will enable students to tap into our network of corporate partners across several industries," said Dr Thiel.
To provide academic leadership and oversight of GISMA's growing course portfolio in Hannover, Berlin, London and worldwide, Dr Steve Priddy has been recently appointed as the business school's new Academic Dean. Dr Priddy has previously been the Academic Dean of the Grenoble programmes in London, and comes with an in-depth understanding of the portfolio and years of academic management experience.
"We are confident that the Grenoble programmes will have a strong demand in Berlin. As one of the few institutions to make available triple-accredited qualifications, GISMA will strengthen its position as one of the most dynamic and well-connected business schools in Germany," said Dr Steve Priddy.
