Greenway's PrimeSUITE Endorsed by Allina Hospitals & Clinics
EHR Implementation Endorsed by Allina for Regional Providers
CARROLLTON, Ga., Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. today announced that Allina Hospitals & Clinics has selected PrimeSUITE®, the company's integrated electronic health record (EHR) practice management and interoperability solution, for endorsement to healthcare providers across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
The endorsement was based, in part, on PrimeSUITE's ability to interface tightly with Allina's Epic-based electronic medical record system used throughout its hospital and clinic operations.
"Allina fully understands the needs and challenges associated with EHR adoption, and as a result, has endorsed Greenway® for our data exchange and interoperability expertise," said Greenway President and CEO Tee Green. "Allina's affiliated practices that choose Greenway can adopt a full interoperability capacity, thus helping advance care coordination and patient safety across the region."
"We are pleased to have Greenway Medical Technologies join our select roster of health IT companies that will partner with us in striving to reach the goals of significantly improving the quality and effectiveness of physicians across Minnesota and western Wisconsin," said Robert Wieland, MD, executive vice president, Allina Clinic and Community Division.
