Hale and Hearty Soups Announces an All-Star Lineup for 2015 Chef Series
NEW YORK, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Grab a spoon and get ready to savor delicious soups by four of the world's most renowned chefs – while benefiting charity – at famed NYC soup institution Hale and Hearty Soups.
This year's star studded lineup features celebrity chefs Mario Batali (Chef/Owner, Del Posto, Babbo, Eataly, and more), Daniel Boulud (Chef/Owner, DANIEL, Cafe Boulud, db bistro, Bar Boulud, Boulud Sud, DBGB, and more) April Bloomfield (Chef/Owner, The Spotted Pig, The Breslin Bar & Dining Room, The John Dory Oyster Bar and more) and Gabrielle Hamilton (Chef/Owner, Prune; Author, Blood, Bones & Butter), who have created exciting limited edition soups for the 12 week program.
Each chef's soup will run alongside the restaurant's Daily Specials for three weeks, with ten percent of the proceeds going to charity.
Mario Batali's Pappa al Pomodoro, will benefit The Mario Batali Foundation; April Bloomfield's Ribollita will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand; Daniel Boulud's Curried Cream of Cauliflower and Apple Soup will benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels, and Gabrielle Hamilton's Late Night Line Cook Shift Meal will benefit V-Day.
This will be the third consecutive year that Hale and Hearty Soups has run the Chef Series – Soup for a Cause program – veteran guest chefs of the fundraiser include David Burke, Andrew Carmellini, Marc Murphy, Bill Telepan and John DeLucie.
