Graphic Packaging Holding Company Appoints New Board Member
MARIETTA, Ga., May 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE: GPK) announced today that David A. Perdue has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors, effective May 19, 2011. Mr. Perdue was also appointed as a member of the Compensation and Benefits Committee.

Mr. Perdue is the Chief Executive Officer of The Aquila Group LLC, a position he has held since 2007. Prior to his employment with Aquila, he served as chairman and CEO of Dollar General Corporation from 2003 until 2007. Mr. Perdue also serves on the boards of Alliant Energy Corporation, Liquidity Services, Inc., and several nonprofit organizations, including the Georgia Tech Foundation Board of Trustees; Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University, Board of Visitors; and Georgia Ports Authority. He also formerly served as chairman of the National Commission on Adult Literacy and Workforce Development.
