Still time to book a winter adventure to discover one of the world's most captivating, least-touristed destinations
BOSTON, Dec. 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Grand Circle Foundation has reduced prices by up to $800 per couple for January through May 2014 departures of its two People-to-People Cuba trips, both memorable journeys that reveal the vibrant culture, natural beauty, and authentic way of life of what remains one of the world's most fascinating destinations, Foundation Chair Harriet R. "Older Americans grew up hearing about, yet being isolated from Cuba, so many are incredibly curious to finally experience Cuba's culture and engage with its people," said Lewis. "By traveling during the winter and early spring months, travelers will not only enjoy mild weather but also significant savings as they visit this island nation they have longed to see."
Grand Circle Foundation's People-to-People trips are limited to small groups of 12-20 participants. Both trips feature several days exploring Havana, visiting other areas of the country, cultural discoveries, and a range of People-to-People activities, including visits to farms and community organizations, and opportunities for personal interaction with Cubans. While available to all Americans, the programs are paced for Americans aged 50 and older:
In 2013, 90 percent of participants rated their People-to-People Cuba programs with Grand Circle Foundation as "excellent."
