DALLAS, Aug. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Before the bands tune up their instruments, a coin is tossed or the players even strap on their helmets, the excitement of Black college football will descend on our nation's capital with AT&T* Nation's Football Classic®(AT&T NFC). Step shows, games, musical performances, prize giveaways and appearances by famous HBCU alums Wendy Raquel Robinson and Fonzworth Bentley will highlight an array of activities, culminating with the faceoff between longtime rivals Morehouse College and Howard University at RFK Stadium Sept. 7. AT&T NFC promises to bring together fans, students, alums and the community for all the fanfare and tradition that comes with Black college football.

AT&T Kickoff Rally
Check out celebrity appearances, performances and showcase that school spirit, at the Kickoff Rally, at one of the capital city's premier music venues, 9:30 Club on Friday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m. The AT&T Kickoff Rally will be hosted by Howard alum Wendy Raquel Robinson & Morehouse alum Fonzworth Bentley.
Fans will also have a say in which musical act will perform at the AT&T Kickoff Rally. Vote-Share-Jam allows fans to cast their vote for the artist they'd like to hear most during the event, either on Twitter or online at one of the CBS radio websites, 95.5-FM and V-103. Participants are encouraged to share their vote with friends and come out to see the chosen artist.
AT&T Soundstage and Connection Zone at Pepsi® Fan Festival
Get ready for the ultimate fan event. Check out the AT&T Soundstage and Connection Zone on Lot 5 at RFK Stadium before the game. Meet celebrities, see musical performances including but not limited to hometown favorites Mambo Sauce and E.U., test drive the virtual Texting-While-Driving Simulator, recharge those phones and check out the latest AT&T devices . The pre-game festivities begin Saturday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m.
AT&T Nation's Football Classic® Game
The much anticipated rematch between the Howard Bison and Maroon Tigers will kickoff at RFK Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3:30 p.m.
To pump up spirit for the upcoming AT&T NFC game and HBCU football season, AT&T held its Making Moves contest over the spring and summer which asked fans to visit makingmoves.att.net to share how they are Making Moves in their lives and preparing for the upcoming fall football season.
