Governor Rendell Signs Legislation
HARRISBURG, Pa., July 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today signed into law the following bills:
Senate Bill 1042: An Act amending the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L. 343, No. 176), known as The Fiscal Code, further providing for investment, for State depositories, for requisitions, for audit of requisitions and issuance of warrants and for payments; providing for additional transfer, for bonds, for educational tax credits, for permit extensions, for heritage areas and for special provisions relating to victims of crime; further providing for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, for the Judicial Computer System Augmentation Account and for the Access to Justice Account; providing for the State Gaming Fund; further providing for the Tobacco Settlement Fund; providing for 2010-2011 budget implementation, for 2010-2011 restrictions on appropriations for funds and accounts and for retirement; and making related repeals.
House Bill 2280: An Act making an appropriation from a restricted revenue account within the General Fund to the Office of Small Business Advocate in the Department of Community and Economic Development.
House Bill 2281: An Act making appropriations from the Professional Licensure Augmentation Account and from restricted revenue accounts within the General Fund to the Department of State for use by the Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs in support of the professional licensure boards assigned thereto.
House Bill 2282: An Act making an appropriation from a restricted revenue account within the General Fund to the Office of Consumer Advocate in the Office of Attorney General.
House Bill 2283: An Act making an appropriation from the Public School Employees' Retirement Fund to provide for expenses of the Public School Employees' Retirement Board for the fiscal year July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
House Bill 2284: An Act making an appropriation from the State Employees' Retirement Fund to provide for expenses of the State Employees' Retirement Board for the fiscal year July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
House Bill 2285: An Act making appropriations from the restricted revenue accounts within the State Gaming Fund and from the State Gaming Fund to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, the Department of Revenue, the Pennsylvania State Police and the Attorney General for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
House Bill 2286: An Act making appropriations from the Workmen's Compensation Administration Fund to the Department of Labor and Industry and the Department of Community and Economic Development to provide for the expenses of administering the Workers' Compensation Act, The Pennsylvania Occupational Disease Act and the Office of Small Business Advocate for the fiscal year July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2010.
House Bill 2287: An Act making appropriations from a restricted revenue account within the General Fund and from Federal augmentation funds to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission; and providing for the additional appropriation of Federal funds from the General Fund to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission for the fiscal year July 1, 2009, to June 30, 2010.
House Bill 2292: A Supplement to the act of April 1, 1863 (P.L. 213, No. 227), entitled "An act to accept the grant of Public Lands, by the United States, to the several states, for the endowment of Agricultural Colleges," making appropriations for carrying the same into effect; and providing for a basis for payments of such appropriations, for a method of accounting for the funds appropriated and for certain fiscal information disclosure.
House Bill 2293: Supplement to the act of July 28, 1966 (3rd Sp. Sess., P.L. 87, No.3), known as the University of Pittsburgh--Commonwealth Act, making appropriations for carrying the same into effect; and providing for a basis for payments of such appropriations, for a method of accounting for the funds appropriated and for certain fiscal information disclosure.
House Bill 2294: A Supplement to the act of November 30, 1965 (P.L. 843, No. 355), known as the Temple University--Commonwealth Act, making appropriations for carrying the same into effect; providing for a basis for payments of such appropriations; and providing a method of accounting for the funds appropriated and for certain fiscal information disclosure.
House Bill 2295: A Supplement to the act of July 7, 1972 (P.L. 743, No. 176), known as the Lincoln University-Commonwealth Act, making an appropriation for carrying the same into effect; providing for a basis for payments of the appropriation; and providing a method of accounting for the funds appropriated and for certain fiscal information disclosure.
House Bill 2296: An Act making appropriations to the Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania.
