Governor Rendell Signs Legislation
HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today signed into law the following bills:
House Bill 458 designates the bridge carrying U.S. Route 522 over Aughwick Creek in Shirley Township, Huntingdon County, as the Queen Aliquippa Bridge.
House Bill 1801 designates the bridge in the borough of White Oak, Allegheny County, carrying State Route 2033 over Jack's Run Stream as the Milton L. Lebowitz Memorial Bridge.
House Bill 1847 amends the act of Sept. 24, 1968 (P.L. 1040, No. 318), known as the Coal Refuse Disposal Control Act, establishes the Coal Bed Methane Review Board to resolve disputes between property owners over the location of coal bed methane wells and access roads.
Senate Bill 380 designates the bridge on Route 219 over the Little Toby Creek, Brockway Borough, Jefferson County, as the Christopher E. Loudon Memorial Bridge.
