Governor Rendell Orders U.S. and Pennsylvania Flags at All State Facilities to Be Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day
HARRISBURG, Pa., July 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G. Rendell today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags on commonwealth facilities across the state to be flown at half-staff today in honor of National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day.
The Governor's order, based on a nationwide order issued by President Obama, honors the memory of Americans who died as a result of their service in the Korean War.
Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset.
