Governor Corbett Signs House Bills into Law

HARRISBURG, Pa., March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Tom Corbett has signed into law the following House bills:

House Bill 816 (P.N. 1853) -- This bill amends the Act of July 9, 1987 (P.L. 220, No. 39), known as the Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselors Act, to change certain licensing requirements.

House Bill 1355 (P.N. 1584) -- this legislation designates the westbound bridge carrying Interstate 90 over Six Mile Creek in Harbor Creek Township, Erie County as the Jarrid L. King Memorial Bridge. 

House Bill 1886 (P.N. 2461) – This legislation designates the bridge carrying State Route 136 over the Monongahela River that connects Forward Township, Allegheny County to the City of Monongahela, Washington County as the General Carl E. Vuono Bridge.
