Goodrich to Showcase Geospatial Capabilities at GeoInt 2010 Symposium in New Orleans
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Goodrich Corporation (NYSE: GR) will showcase its geospatial intelligence systems at the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) Symposium (GEOINT) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans. This event takes place from November 1-4, 2010.
Goodrich ISR Systems (booth 151) will be demonstrating its processing, exploitation and dissemination (PED) capabilities currently used by military forces across the globe. These systems have the capability to collect, process, and deliver actionable intelligence to decision makers and war fighters via a state-of-the-art product portfolio.
Showcasing the booth will be the Intelligence Exploitation System (IES), a well proven, fielded system, meeting the most stringent military and civilian standards. The IES can ingest data from multiple sensors and rapidly disseminate the resultant fused intelligence where it is needed. SAVANT, the Situational Awareness, Visualization and Networking Terminal, a data repository that interfaces with Google Earth allowing the operational users with near real-time operational imagery. In addition, Short Wave InfraRed (SWIR) sensor technology and the T-2 Delta stabilized gimbal supporting force protection applications will be on display.
