Goddard Global Opens New Office in Brussels--Names Alexander Kolks as EU Director
WASHINGTON, Feb. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Goddard Global—the international affiliate to the U.S. firm, Goddard Gunster—on Monday announced that Political Advisor Alexander Kolks would join their public affairs team in Europe at the firm's newest office at Rue Breydel 34, 1040 in Brussels.
Kolks comes to Goddard Global from the European Parliament where he served as Chief of Staff to the VVD delegation leader, also President of Liberal international. In this capacity, he helped oversee European foreign affairs, security and defence policy projects as well as projects aimed at enhancing democracies in developing nations.
Kolks will lead issue advocacy efforts out of Goddard Global's Belgium-based office, joining Senior Vice President Rob Leggat and Chris Dougan, Global's Managing Partner in furthering worldwide initiatives and communications projects for the firm's clients.

Kolks began his career at the Ministry of Justice, handling external relations before moving on to the Dutch National Parliament as an advisor to the frontrunner in the European Parliament elections.
