Gmail Gets Unlimited: ForgetBox, an Application Recommended by Google, Enables Attaching Files of Infinite Size to Emails Sent Through the Famous E-mailing Service
PARIS, March 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ForgetBox, a PC & Mac application launched a few months ago by Severin, a French student, is in good position to challenge the market of file sending applications. Last October, the startup made the sending of 9665 pictures possible in 4 simple clicks.
After having been downloaded in 100 different countries, ForgetBox comes back today with another highly innovative feature, enabling its users to send large documents, pictures and videos directly from Gmail, without any limitation of size and without waiting.
How? Once ForgetBox is installed, a new button called << Attach a FAT file (with ForgetBox) >> adds itself to Gmail's interface. Simply use this button to attach files to your messages, and ForgetBox handles the rest. No more wait, no more progress bars: Gmail will send your email automatically after the files get uploaded.
Recipients will get your email as you wrote it, along with a link to your ForgetBox attachments. To avoid cluttering up their inbox, files will be stored on ForgetBox servers until they download them. This way, users are able to send large numbers of files in a single e-mail.
Thanks to ForgetBox, users can also be sure that their files will be uploaded: cutting their Internet connection or switching their computer off will only pause the transfer. In order to boost productivity, everything is made in the background.
