Monson, who has more than 19 years of telecommunications industry experience with 14 years focused on video communications, will join other industry experts to address the latest collaborative conferencing issues and trends, in addition to conducting classes on managing interoperability issues between disparate video platforms.
"The common concern for businesses considering or implementing video is 'How do I get my system to talk to other systems … especially if other people have different systems and software?'" Monson said. "From my years of experience working with systems manufactured by Polycom, Cisco, and others, I can clearly explain and demonstrate why Glowpoint has the unique managed service solution to address all perceived barriers. I can even provide examples of the services currently used by our smallest local, and largest global, customers." Monson will also present an overview of Glowpoint's "Video-in-the-Cloud" Managed Service platform that enables global video deployments over a variety of communication systems.
