SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GlobalLogic, a leading Experience Design and Digital Product Development services company, announced today that board member Sir Peter Bonfield will be elevated to Chairman of the Board, and former Vodafone Group Global CTO Steve Pusey has been appointed to its board of directors.

Pusey brings more than 35 years of international technology and leadership experience to GlobalLogic's board. While at Vodafone, Pusey defined and led its global technology strategy and was responsible for all aspects of Vodafone's networks, IT capability, and supply chain management. He has also held leadership positions at telecom companies such as Nortel Networks and British Telecom. Pusey's strong leadership experience and technology knowledge will be beneficial to the further development of GlobalLogic's communications and media business.

Sir Peter Bonfield's experience in the fields of electronics, computers, and communications—spanning over 45 years — continues to benefit GlobalLogic. Sir Peter has been involved with a diverse portfolio of companies, operating at the board level, in the USA, Europe, and the Far East. He is currently Chairman of NXP, the world's fourth largest semiconductor company. Previously, he served as Chairman and CEO of ICL and subsequently as CEO of British Telecommunications plc. For nearly two years, Sir Peter has actively helped expand GlobalLogic's growth strategy and foster strong relationships from his position on the board. This new role will allow him to become further involved and continue to grow GlobalLogic's brand and business.
