Dr. Errishi was the first Libyan official to announce that the Libyan leader Muammar Kadhafi should step down. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Errishi is well known for his work among the Libyan community as a Human right activist and democracy advocate.

Dr. Errishi will give a short statement and answer questions concerning the current situation in Libya and what the U.S. and the rest of the world needs to do.
