Global Distribution Company Signs $1.7 Million Deal with Brainware for Accounts Payable Automation

ASHBURN, Va., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainware, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions announced today that an international distribution company has chosen Brainware to automate accounts payable invoice processing for its US operations.  The deal, which is worth more than $1.7 million to Brainware, will help this company consolidate multiple accounts payable operations into a single shared services center capable of processing the entire daily invoice volume with 20% of the headcount.

The Brainware Distiller solution will automate the sorting of accounts payable documents, the extraction of header and line item detail, the automated pairing and reconciliation of invoice line item detail, and the subsequent two and three-way matching of invoices to their corresponding purchase orders and delivery receipts.  While this initial transaction is focused on the company's US operations, the broader goal is to roll the solution into the UK, Europe, and Asia.
