Gilbane Wins Prestigious CURT Construction Industry Safety Excellence Award (CISE)

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Construction Users Roundtable (CURT) presented Gilbane Building Company with their highest honor of the Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Award. The award recognizes commendable safety performance of individual constructor firms over a sustained time period. The award is intended to convey CURT's strong support of constructor safety performance and emphasizes safe construction as a key component of cost-effective project delivery.

• The contractor's safety management system as it pertains to implementation of the CURT R-807 Construction Owner's Safety Blueprint
• Review of safety performance with three client companies for whom the constructor recently performed work

Gilbane Building Company and its job site safety programs were also recently honored by the Associated Builders and Contractors with its STEP Diamond Award. Given as part of its Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) program, the Diamond Award is the highest level recognition offered by this national construction industry association.
