General Steel Announces Results of Its 2010 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders
BEIJING, June 22 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- General Steel Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: GSI), one of China's leading, non-state-owned producers of steel products and aggregators of domestic steel companies, today announced the official results of its 2010 Annual General Meeting, held on June 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. local time in Beijing, China. The following proposals were approved by the Company's shareholders:
1. All of the nominees to the board of directors were elected to serve until the 2011 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders; 2. Frazer Frost, LLP was ratified as the Company's independent auditor for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2010; and 3. Amendment No. 1 to the Company's 2008 Equity Incentive Plan was approved to increase the number of shares of common stock reserved for issuance thereunder by 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 shares.
