Gaytan Broadcasting Adds Two Spanish Language Radio Stations
TULSA, Okla., Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaytan Broadcasting LLC has entered into an agreement to purchase Reunion Broadcasting and will begin operating Reunion's two Tulsa radio stations. "This acquisition will allow Gaytan Broadcasting to better serve the Hispanic Community of Tulsa and allow us to expand our efforts within the Latino community as a whole," said Maria De Leon, Owner and CEO.
Gaytan Broadcasting has operated the Heritage Hispanic Radio Station in Tulsa, KXTD 1530AM branded as "Que Buena," for 14 years. Two additional Spanish language formats will be launched by spring as the company expands. Gaytan Broadcasting LLC was honored by the National Association of Broadcasters in 2010 as a finalist for Marconi awards in two categories, Medium Market Station of the Year and Spanish Language radio station of the year. Ms. De Leon has also been appointed Co-Chairperson of the Greater Tulsa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
