Gary Bauer Launches New Missouri Ad Buy; Urges support for Todd Akin
"Rep. Todd Akin is a Ronald Reagan conservative, who will represent Missouri's values in the Senate, not Barack Obama's," said Bauer
WASHINGTON, Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Former presidential candidate Gary Bauer announced this week that his Campaign for Working Families political action committee was launching another independent expenditure in Missouri on behalf of Todd Akin's bid for the U.S. Senate.
"Sen. Claire McCaskill votes for the radical agenda of Barack Obama at every opportunity," noted Bauer, the chairman of CWF. "Missouri voters overwhelmingly rejected Obamacare's individual mandate. Claire McCaskill voted for it. Seventy-one percent of Missouri voters supported a ballot measure to protect normal marriage. Claire McCaskill opposed it."
"Missouri voters deserve a Senator who shares their values and will fight against the exploding growth of big government that intrusively reaches into their wallets and into their homes," said Bauer. "Moreover, this race is critically important for the future of America. Every conservative wants to end Harry Reid's obstructionist Senate so we can repeal Obamacare, pass a budget and get America back on the right track. That means electing Todd Akin to the United States Senate."
Bauer is rolling out ads on Christian, country and news talk radio formats in major Missouri media markets.
This campaign is one of many spear-headed by Bauer this year. Recently, the Guardian called Bauer "one of the leading campaigners in the U.S. on pro-life and pro-traditional family issues." Well-known for creating effective campaigns in key states, he has run ads this cycle exposing Obama's radicalism on marriage, highlighting Obama's hostility to religious liberty and spotlighting the shockingly negative reaction of Democratic National Committee delegates to the inclusion of God in their party platform.
