Game Production Services is Now 'Acaji'
New name, new products and new website for immersive environment company
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Game Production Services' founders and owners, CEO Janeen Anderson and President Glyn Anderson, have completed a corporate restructuring in which GPS has been acquired by a new company they have created called Acaji, Inc.
In the Lakota (Sioux) language, "acaji" means "tomorrow."
The new corporate structure will enable Acaji to realize the full market potential of its revolutionary, patented Acaji Dome.
"We chose a name that means 'tomorrow' because Acaji is pursuing new markets," said company CEO and co-founder, Janeen Anderson. "Our new line of Acaji Dome products is being marketed for all types of simulation, training, and entertainment applications."
In Acaji Domes, motion-tracked participants enjoy complete freedom of movement, use interactive props, and feel sensations such as heat, cold, scent, and wind in a 180- by 360 degree simulated environment. The result is the most realistic immersive experience available today.
"After years of growth, the original company name no longer reflected the breadth of our offerings," said Mark Nausha, Director of Business Development. "The new name allows us to pursue non-military government customers and a broad array of commercial markets."
GPS has become an operating division of Acaji, and will continue to provide sales and support to current and future military customers.
Along with the new company identity, a new corporate website, www.Acaji.com, has been launched to serve potential customers and investors. In the near future, the site will serve as a gateway to two Acaji dome websites for distinct audiences: AeonDome.com for the entertainment and sports markets, and MultiFunctionDome.com for the military, training, and education markets.
