G2A Has Invested Over $6 Million in e-Sport Sponsorship Since 2014, to Make e-Sport Global Teams Grow Stronger, Faster
RZESZÓW, Poland and HONG KONG, October 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
G2A's valued e-sports partners, players and fans were recently advised that G2A received an email from the Riot Developer Relations Manager in the United States confirming that e-sporters will no longer be allowed to use G2A's logo at e-sport events sponsored by G2A. G2A believes that this news has the potential to impact negatively on e-sporters all over the world, coming at a time when demand for e-sports events is particularly high.

Negotiations between G2A and Riot failed to produce a win-win solution that would empower the e-sport industry for gamers.
Riot said, in part: "This decision, however, is final as regards G2A visual sponsorship at Worlds 2015."
This is especially unfortunate for those e-sporters who had already printed G2A t-shirts and branding for their events and were consequently obliged to use duct tape to cover G2A's logo, increasing the sales of duct tape worldwide!
G2A announced today that due to demands from gamers all over the world, they will be printing Limited Edition G2A T-shirts.
