Frost & Sullivan Announces 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award Winners
Alcoa, Eli Lilly, Ford, Lockheed Martin, and fellow award winners from across the manufacturing world to be honored at the Manufacturing Leadership Summit
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan's Manufacturing Leadership Council today honored 100 world-class manufacturing companies and individual leaders as winners of the 2013 Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards (ML100 Awards).
In a world of intensifying global competition and accelerating change, recipients of the ML100 Awards have distinguished themselves by embracing breakthrough innovation and enabling their companies to anticipate and respond to customers with unmatched agility.
Now in their ninth year, the Manufacturing Leadership 100 Awards honor companies and individuals that are shaping the future of global manufacturing. Nominations across 11 categories are vetted and evaluated by a panel of expert judges. Seven of the ML100 categories celebrate outstanding projects undertaken and completed by a manufacturing company. Four categories recognize the achievements of individual manufacturing executives.
Manufacturing Leadership 100 Award winners will be honored on May 15 at a gala celebration that follows the ninth annual Manufacturing Leadership Summit in Palm Beach, FL, a gathering of manufacturing leaders from around the world. The theme for the 2013 Summit is "Bold Ideas for a Better Future," and featured speakers include Rodney Brooks, founder, chairman, and CTO of Rethink Robotics; John Rogers, president and CEO of Local Motors; and Richard Dauch, co-founder and executive chairman of American Axle Manufacturing.
The 2013 ML100 Award winners hail from the United States, Canada, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Switzerland.
