Frequentz Broadens Expertise in Traceability Space with Addition of Lew Kontnik as Strategic Advisor
Lew Kontnik joins two new Frequentz strategists, Greg Seremetis and John Schultz, to deliver exceptional track & trace solutions to businesses placing an importance on customer transparency and safety
PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To continue delivering on their promise of exceptional supply chain traceability, Frequentz has increased their team expertise to include a respected thought leader in the field of pharmaceutical supply chain security and serialization, Lew Kontnik formerly of Amgen. He joins Frequentz as Strategic Advisor and will work closely with recent additions Greg Seremetis, Chief Marketing Officer, and John Schultz, Senior Vice President of Sales.
In his advisory role, Kontnik will help Frequentz direct its offerings to meet changing regulatory requirements and expand its services to enhance client value realization. For the last decade he has served as Amgen's Global Supply Chain Director having designed and co-led their global serialization compliance program to meet the regulations imposed by different countries. Kontnik also brings a unique strategic perspective due to his leadership involvement in GS1, where he is one of the three Global Tri-chairs, and Rx-360, where he is active in the Traceability Architecture Work Group and organized the Rx-360 Communications Team. Frequentz looks forward to expanding its efforts 2015.

Prior to Frequentz, he held an array of key marketing leadership roles at Petco, Hilton Worldwide and Gateway Computers. His responsibilities have included building new marquee brands, as well as integrating major marketing initiatives across several brand communication channels including digital media, content, communications, and CRM.
John Schultz serves as Senior Vice President of Sales at Frequentz and comes to the company from Health Market Science where he led sales and marketing for the pharmacy, PBM and government spaces. Previously, while at IMS Health, he led sales across Europe, the Middle East, and US, focusing on their core pharmaceutical clients. He also built and managed the Sales & Marketing team at Inovalon driving quality analytics largely in the Payer space. Prior to his concentration in healthcare, John spent 20 years in Sales, Marketing and Services at IBM, both in the US and in Europe.
