Freeman Joins QNB Bank as President/Chief Operating Officer
QUAKERTOWN, Pa., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today the Board of Directors of QNB Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: QNBC) and QNB Bank announced the appointment of David W. Freeman as President of QNB Corp. and President/Chief Operating Officer of QNB Bank. Thomas J. Bisko will retain the title and position of Chief Executive Officer. Bisko stated, "David Freeman is a conscientious community banker with over 30 years experience in the banking industry. We are fortunate to have him join our management team."

As President/Chief Operating Officer, Freeman will assist with the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the bank and will be responsible for working with the management team to guide the bank and its 179 employees. Freeman commented, "It's an honor to join a company like QNB with such a rich history of community banking and service to the local area. With over three decades of banking tenure, Freeman most recently served as Division President for the Drovers Bank Division of Fulton Bank in York, PA. He held prior executive and management positions with PNC Bank in Pittsburgh, PA, Chase Bank of Ohio and Huntington National Bank in Columbus, OH.
Freeman holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Franklin University and an MBA from The Ohio State University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
As a passionate community leader, Freeman served on various non-profit boards in the York area including the United Way, Cultural Alliance, Boy Scouts and York County Economic Development Committee. He looks forward to bringing his passion for community service to similar groups within QNB's market area.
