FreedomPop Selects Telespree to Deliver 3G/4G LTE Real-Time Data Services

SAN FRANCISCO and LOS ANGELES, Oct. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Telespree Communications today announced that it was selected as the preferred provider of real-time data services for its 3G/4G LTE smartphones and data devices for FreedomPop, America's new free Internet company. FreedomPop will use Telespree's real-time metering capabilities to ensure that its users will receive all of the value they expect from the nation's first 100% Free High Speed Wireless Internet provider.

Using Telespree's Active Session Monitoring Service, FreedomPop controls access to VoIP and data on its recently launched FreedomPop Phone to provide an enhanced, tailored user experience. Telespree monitors and distinguishes data usage – both the VoIP data stream as well as general data – to enable FreedomPop to offer different voice calling, data plans and upgrade options to customers.  In real-time, subscriber sessions can then be redirected to welcome screens, plan pages, advertising partner destinations or social media outlets as needed to deliver on FreedomPop's requirements.  In the future, Telespree's capabilities will support FreedomPop as it adds additional devices, offers and promotions, and explores new ways for its users to earn free Internet service.
