Don Bates Jr. joins Freedom Posse Campaign to claim Indiana Senate Seat for Conservatives
BEND, Ore., April 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Freedom Posse saddled up today in an effort to promote a national campaign to elect conservatives to the U.S. Senate. The Freedom Posse created by Sam and Linda Carpenter of Bend, Oregon are using this national fundraising committee to support the efforts of like-minded Conservatives across the nation. Republican U.S. Senate candidates from four states have already endorsed the Freedom Posse in this fight to rid Washington of liberal bureaucrats and career politicians. Don Bates Jr. of Indiana has joined this conservative cause with fellow Republican U.S. Senate candidates Chris Widner of Washington, Jim Rutledge of Maryland, and Curtis Coleman of Arkansas.

The Freedom Posse is composed of conservative candidates who are businessmen and entrepreneurs who have never held elective office. Sam Carpenter said, "Our focus is on bringing fiscal accountability and responsibility to Washington." Sam and Linda Carpenter want to encourage ordinary Americans like themselves to join this cause to return Washington and the U.S. Senate to the governing principles of the founders. The Freedom Posse hopes to encourage and support non-career politicians to run for office.
Sam Carpenter is the author of the book Work the System: The Simple Mechanics of Making More and Working Less, which has developed an intense following among small business owners since its release one year ago. Sam Carpenter said, "Our goal is to ride into Washington to stop the selling of our grandchildren's futures." The Freedom Posse believes that liberal bureaucrats are raising taxes and driving our nation further into debt while taxpayers and their children and grandchildren are left to face the financial consequences.
The Freedom Posse believes conservative candidates like Don Bates Jr. will stand up for fiscal responsibility and fight for the citizens of Indiana in the U.S. Senate. Don Bates Jr. and the Freedom Posse share the beliefs of limited government, lower taxes, and eliminating unnecessary regulations.
