Free Foreclosure Prevention and First-time Homebuyer Workshop in Columbus Sponsored by Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco

WHAT:

In response to the record number of home foreclosures in the Columbus, Ohio metropolitan area, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco in conjunction with Save the Dream Ohio and Columbus area Housing Counseling Agencies will host a free foreclosure prevention and first-time homebuyer workshop to assist Columbus area residents facing home foreclosure or buying their first residence.

Credit and housing counselors, loan servicers, and lenders will be available to provide one-on-one consultations to homeowners. Attendees are encouraged to bring loan documents and other relevant financial information.

Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy will discuss the foreclosure problem in the Columbus area and what homeowners need to do to address it.
