FRC Action and CitizenLink Release Scorecard on 112th Congress
WASHINGTON, Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Today, Family Research Council Action and CitizenLink released their Vote Scorecard for the full 112th Congress. In 2011, FRC Action and CitizenLink scored numerous votes that were detrimental to the family. The new Scorecard details how Members of Congress voted on pro-life and pro-family issues. In all, eight Senators and 54 Representatives had 100 percent, "True Blue" voting records in the scorecard.
Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins made the following comments:
"We thank those Members of Congress who have voted consistently to defend faith, family and freedom. These 'True Blue Members' have voted to repeal Obamacare, defund Planned Parenthood, end government funding for abortion within the health care law, uphold the Defense of Marriage Act and continue funding for the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program.
