Frank D'Angelo Signs with RED - A Division of Sony Music Entertainment
TORONTO, March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - The New Year is starting strong for Frank D'Angelo as he has just completed a new music album that is the catalyst for a music deal with RED - A Division of Sony Music Entertainment through Whatevaok Entertainment, LLC/Premium Sol Entertainment Inc., for all of Frank's music worldwide. The new album entitled I Want to Live Forever, with songs written and performed by Frank D'Angelo, is the soundtrack of his new film Sicilian Vampire which is going into production later this month. Written and directed by Frank D'Angelo, Sicilian Vampire will feature notable actors James Caan, Paul Sorvino, Darryl Hannah, Robert Loggia, Michael Madsen, Daniel Baldwin, Franco Nero, Eric Roberts, Michael Paré, Tony Nardi and Phil Esposito.
Sicilian Vampire will be Frank's fourth film in the last two years that he has written, directed, produced, and starred. His first film, Real Gangsters (the story of the Lo Giacomo family, one of the most successful crime syndicates in New York City), is currently in worldwide release on Video-On-Demand networks. The second film, The Big Fat Stone (a story of a homeless man who, simply by being at the right place at the right time, gets a chance at a new life), started on Rogers-On-Demand in Canada March 10th, with BellTV and other VOD providers worldwide soon to follow. His third movie, No Deposit (a story about a family man who falls from grace through a series of downward spiraling events beyond his control), is scheduled for release in theatres in the USA on April 24th with exclusive engagements in New York, Chicago, Tampa, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Frank has also written, produced and stars in La Trattoria a TV sitcom pilot starring Doris Roberts, Michael Paré, Robert Loggia, Tony Rosato and Tony Nardi which takes a comical look at the lives of three grown men who still live with their mother and who decide to open an Italian restaurant together. The pilot will debut soon on the CITY-TV network in Canada with other USA networks soon to be announced.
With all these new TV, movie, and musical ventures moving forward, the inking of the new music deal is early proof that 2015 should be another banner year for Frank D'Angelo. "Once executives listened to a few songs from the album I Want to Live Forever, they were over the moon and couldn't wait to hear more," says Frank D'Angelo. "This is now my eighth album and Sony has access to distribute all of my music with this new deal. At this stage, in my life I'm happy that my music is making an impact".
