Working closely with PayPal Founder, Peter Thiel, at global macro hedge fund, Clarium Capital, Portnoy served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance for more than four years. In 2008, Portnoy transitioned to serve as CFO at information analytics company, Palantir Technologies.
