Former Groupon Sales Executive Joins edo Interactive
John Corrigan latest addition to growing team dedicated to introducing advertisers to innovative technology that can provide consumers with relevant, instantly redeemable offers via existing credit and debit cards.
NASHVILLE, March 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Advertising technology innovator edo Interactive has added former Groupon national sales director John Corrigan and former Google, Feedburner and Yahoo! alumnus Ed D'Onofrio to its growing team of top talent responsible for introducing advertisers to technology that will enable them to provide consumers with paperless, instantly redeemable deals and incentives via existing debit and credit cards, today announced the company's chief executive officer, Ed Braswell.
Corrigan and D'Onofrio will serve as Directors of Category Development and will report to edo's Chief Revenue Officer Mark Marinacci, who joined the company in February. Marinacci was previously Head of Retail at Google.
edo Interactive, Inc. is a marketing technology company whose Prewards® product provides consumers with relevant, instantly redeemable deals and incentives from top brands via existing credit, debit and prepaid cards issued by participating banks. Consumers are alerted to offers via web portal and their choice of email, SMS text or mobile application, prompting them to purchase. Once they do, savings are immediately deposited back into their account. Competing providers require consumers to wait up to 45-days before redeposit.

Prior to Groupon, Corrigan was Director of Advertising Sales - Central for Brand.net. He also has worked for both AOL and Advertising.com. D'Onofrio is a former Team Manager for Google and previously worked for Feedburner, where he was responsible for RSS feed and blog marketing programs. D'Onofrio also has worked at Yahoo! Most recently, he was director of sales for social media platform Brickfish.
