The latest addition to the ever-expanding Ford Service Delivery Network (SDN), "Send to SYNC" lets Ford, Lincoln and Mercury owners with SYNC® Traffic, Directions and Information receive destinations sent from Google Maps' popular online mapping service. When users visit Google Maps to find locations, they will have the option to send a selected destination to their vehicle via a "send" menu. The SDN calculates the optimal route using the latest traffic information, then downloads the route to the vehicle. Easy to use and voice-controlled, Send to SYNC will help eliminate the waste and distraction of paper maps when it launches later this month, and will be available as an upgrade for existing 2010-11 models with SYNC TDI. more...

Super-low emissions coming to F-450, F-550 Super Duty
Ford will begin offering an alternative-fuel engine prep package for 6.8-liter F-450 and F-550 Super Duty chassis cabs this fall that enables the use of efficient, clean-burning CNG or LPG. F-450 and F-550 Super Duty are Ford's latest commercial vehicles to get the alternative-fuel conversion option.
