Forcepoint Appoints 20-Year Cybersecurity Veteran as Global Sales Leader

Foster comes to Forcepoint after a nearly 20-year career in commercial cybersecurity sales, most recently at HPE Security where he served as vice president of global sales since June 2015. Earlier, he spent 15 years at Symantec in roles of increasing seniority and responsibilities.

As Forcepoint's most senior sales executive, Foster will lead the global sales and channel organizations across all four business areas – Cloud Security, Network Security, Data & Insider Threat Security and Global Governments. He will report to CEO Matthew Moynahan as a member of the company's executive leadership team.

Foster joins Forcepoint with nearly 20 years of progressive leadership experience in the cybersecurity market. Prior to Forcepoint, Foster served as vice president of global sales for HPE Security with responsibility for all the company's enterprise security products and services. Earlier, Foster led Americas Sales for HPE Security. Before HP, Foster spent 15 years at Symantec, most recently as vice president of Americas Emerging Sales Solutions. He earned a bachelor's degree of business administration from Northeast Louisiana University.
