Fob App, Inc. Announces Selection for 2015 Web Summit ALPHA Programme
DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- September was a big month for Fob App, Inc. The company announced completion of several milestones including participation in the 2015 Web Summit ALPHA Programme, a new partnership with Chrome Data, and the initial beta release of the company's first mobile app, Selfie Test Drive.
With Web Summit right around the corner the team at Fob is busy preparing for the upcoming media blitz that comes with participating in ALPHA. With Web Summit drawing an estimated attendance of over 22,000 entrepreneurs and investors from around the globe, Fob App, Inc. Founder and CEO Jim Douglas is focused on getting their message to right audience.
"Just like investors go to Web Summit to find great ideas," Douglas told a group at the company HQ in Delray Beach, FL, "we're going to Web Summit to find great investors."
While very little information has been released about the actual Fob app, more details about Selfie Test Drive are starting to emerge. Selfie Test Drive is a unique mobile application that gives consumers the ability to see what they would look like in the driver's seat their favorite new car parked in their own driveway.
Coded with SWIFT2, the initial release of Selfie Test Drive is designed to grow with Apple's newest iOS programming language. Even with the upcoming release of Selfie Test Drive, the team at Fob is already focused on enhancing the automotive-themed consumer engagement platform. "We almost completed the first update before we received the approval from Apple to release the beta!" laughed Douglas.
Investors going to Web Summit in November should expect more information on the Fob app, as well as initial data impressions from the release of Selfie Test Drive.
