Florida Department of Education Approves NNDS's Grade 6-12 Lincoln Interactive Curriculum
School Districts Can Now Choose Nationally Recognized, Interactive, Personalized and Flexible Online Curriculum for Students Enrolled in Virtual Instruction Programs
BEAVER, Pa., June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Network of Digital Schools (NNDS) is proud to announce that the Florida Department of Education has added Lincoln Interactive's Grade 6-12 curriculum to its list of approved providers for the school district virtual instruction program.
Every Florida school district is required, by law, to offer a virtual instruction program to eligible students in partnership with an approved provider. The National Network of Digital Schools' Lincoln Interactive is the newest addition to the list of approved providers that will be available to Grade 6-12 students beginning in the 2010-2011 school year.

As part of their expansion into Florida, NNDS will create "The Florida Cyber Program", a vibrant community of students and teachers who use and teach with Lincoln Interactive curriculum. Students will be able to choose over 250 courses, and will use interactive videos, games, 3-D graphics, avatars, discussion boards, hands-on manipulatives, language labs, and Flash animation to learn in a unique and personalized online environment.

Lincoln Interactive courses empower students across the whole spectrum by offering accelerated courses, alternative education and credit recovery courses – as well supporting effective educational programs for special education students. Each student will receive a custom-designed course of study to meet his or her individual needs and abilities.
