ROSH HAAYIN, Israel, June 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Infinite Memory a developer of innovative flash memory media enabling solutions has signed an exclusive partnership deal with China's largest optical media vendor, XGL. XGL will leverage Infinite Memory's unique One-Time-Programmable (OTP) flash memory solution to replace existing media products reaching millions of customers each month. Infinite Memory's innovative patent-pending solution provides, among others, the ability to distribute media through a unique, cost efficient and secure platform.
Starting in 4th grade, children in China are required to study English, and, until recently, utilized analog cassette players. Under this partnership, XGL will distribute educational materials, through the Infinite Memory platform, to millions of China-based school children for the study of English.
The combined product will provide total brand protection against malware, viruses, and fraud, and guarantees that the data cannot be erased. The collaboration will also enable significant cost reduction, providing the best price in industry vs. standard USB flash memory.
"We chose to partner with Infinite Memory over several other leading vendors, following an extensive evaluation process, due to the company's proprietary One-Time-Programming technology, competitive cost and unique security features which ensure that the copyrighted content is protected from piracy," commented Mr. You Xiao Hu, General Manager of XGL. "We look forward to expanding the scope of our cooperation into other provinces and for other content distribution applications."
The Chinese Education Authority recently successfully concluded a pilot test of the solution in the Jiangsu province approving it for mass distribution in the coming school year.
"We're very proud that a market leader like XGL, China's largest vendor of optical media, chose our memory technology for their next generation platform," added Ramy Langer, CEO of Infinite Memory. "We believe through this cooperation users will benefit from one of the most secure and advanced content distribution systems. With the recent successful conclusion of the Jiangsu pilot, we look forward to this solution being adopted by other Chinese provinces in the coming years. "
