Fidelis Partners and Medestar Merge to Form a Full Service Healthcare Recruiting Firm

DALLAS, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Medestar announced today that it has merged with Aliso Viejo, California based-Fidelis Partners, a privately-held retained healthcare placement firm recognized for its highly regarded methods to optimize and efficiently manage the retained physician recruiting process for hospitals and clinics.  

Medestar also announced it will run both businesses under their current brands.  Retained physician search will run under the core Fidelis brand.  Locum Tenens services will run under the core Medestar brand.  The combined company will place over 300 physicians in permanent and temporary positions across the United States in 2010.

• Medestar a national provider of locum tenens services specializing in physicians, dentists, CRNA, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  John Martin will continue as Chief Executive Office of the division.
• Fidelis a leading retained consulting and physician placement business to mid-market companies. Arthur Cooper will continue to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of the division.
