Federated Investors, Inc. Launches Federated Global Strategic Value Dividend Fund
- Expands upon Federated's $37 billion in Strategic Value Dividend strategies
PITTSBURGH, Jan. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Federated Investors, Inc. (NYSE: FII), one of the nation's largest investment managers, today announced the launch of Federated Global Strategic Value Dividend Fund, a global equity mutual fund that invests primarily in high dividend-paying common stocks with dividend growth potential in the U.S. and across the globe. The fund generally invests in large-cap or mid-cap stocks and may also hold American Depository Receipts and real estate investment trusts.
Federated Global Strategic Value Dividend Fund is the newest offering in the $37 billion Strategic Value Dividend suite of products, which includes the $14 billion flagship Federated Strategic Value Dividend Fund, the $801 million Federated International Strategic Value Dividend Fund and an array of institutional separate accounts and managed accounts. The team has managed a similar managed account offering for more than five years.

The portfolio management team brings more than 70 years' combined investment experience and has extensive experience identifying, analyzing and selecting consistent dividend-paying holdings. Daniel Peris, senior portfolio manager and head of the Strategic Value Dividend team, is the author of two books on dividend investing. Deborah Bickerstaff, portfolio manager, has been part of the Strategic Value Dividend team for more than a decade. Jared Hoff, portfolio manager, has notable experience in dividend investing outside the U.S. Michael Tucker, portfolio manager, specializes in the global telecommunications space.
